Hello everyone, After I sent my last email about ltsl 3 looking for the vmlinuz-2.4.21-ltsp-1, got it to boot to a log in screen, here's what I had to do:
I found out I was using an older kernel, so I went to ltsp.org and downloaded a newer version from one of the kernel packages. After that, I didn't get the "file not found" error message, but got a new one stating that "192.168.0.119:/opt/ltsp/i386/i386" did not exist. It turns out that in Mandrake 9.2, the line in /etc/dhcpd.conf is wrong. I had to change, option root-path "192.168.0.119:/opt/ltsp/i386/i386"; to option root-path "192.168.0.119:/opt/ltsp/i386"; Now all I need to figure out is why the keyboard and mouse don't work, and how to get a wireless laptop using a linksys wireless network card to work. Thanks to everyone who gave me advice!
