In LTSP-4, we have switched to dhcpcd, instead of dhclient.
I've been told that dhcpcd is much more flexible in terms
of cooperating with various dhcp servers.

once we get it stabilized a bit, I'll try to look at incorporating
the suggestion that you mentioned.
