My previous experience is with RedHat,I want to try Mandrake.
I have been to the Mandrake hardware site and seem to be in good shape.
When I go to the UH mirror,I see many paths...I don't have broadband,but
a friend does, and I think I can get him to dload for us and burn to CD.

Why don't you just change the IP of the Linksys router? It's VERY easy
to do with the browser interface.
