I would have figured it would default to the framebuffer drivers like it
did for my card. But anyhow, here's what you do. First go to
www.nvidia.com . Select drivers, graphics, GeForce, then linux. Grab
NVIDIA_GLX source rpm. Grab NVIDIA_kernel source rpm. Then get those
to your linux machin
I just installed Mandrake 9, and I cannot start X. I have
checked the graphics card configuration and it was set to Geforce4. When I try
to test the configuration, I get an error message saying " (EE) device cannot be
found" Is anyone succesfully running Mandrake 9 with a Geforce4 Ti4200?

set it browseable, and you will want to use map to guest = bad user

Having problems with Mdk 9 and hoping for some help. Installed very
smoothly on my Presario 711, seems to be overheating a little less than
RH 7.3, sound works, found my smb printer, etc.. But, very strange, in
RH 7.3 I can easily copy files from other linux box or either win
machine using "smb
