[luau] Learning Linux on an Old Version?

I have a Red Hat 5.2 and thought it would be a good place to learn start learning Linux. However, many people have been telling me to upgrade to a more recent version. Is there any benefit to learning Linux on an older version? ---Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free.Checked by AVG

Aloha, I have to disagree with everyone here. There is nothing wrong with using an old version of Linux to learn. The problem you will have with an old version of linux is hardware support. You have to use old hardware. Once you get past that it depends on how much you already know. If you
