Once I am more effective in my everyday issues, then I will be back to

Thanks for the info, Jim. For my own use, the additional accessory is
OK. But for demo purposes, it is probably much preferable to find
something as simple as possible. (BTW, does it take up one of the
either PCI or AGP slot?)
The AMAstore you mentioned seems to be a nice store.

I'm running a Shuttle SS51g. It too does not come with a parallel

I have not forgotten about the Demo Linux PC. The problem is, after I
got all the kinks out of the demo ShuttleX PC (SK41G), I realized it
does not have a parallel port. A USB-Parallel converter cost $59.99 at
CompUSA, and is not guaranteed to work. This pretty much kills the idea

Just got a message from VIA. They will assign an engineer to work with
me (apparently they are taking this matter quite seriously). Thus, I
will wait until I hear from them.
Cheers!

While Moore's law is now largely irrelevant with respect to CPU speed,
it is gaining respect regarding flash memories. And we may see 512 MB
or more flash cards becoming norm in the near future. Being to able to
be contained in a flash card, complete with applications, is something

Thanks for the discussions. I am very encouraged by the interest.
Perhaps there is some background info I need to supply:
Although I have not tried yet, the ShuttleX Linux demo PC that I am
talking about allows booting from a USB port (basically Linux will treat
it as a SCSI port). Thus, if

Just realized that I did not indicate my name in my message. This and
the parent message were from W. Wayne Liauh.
This message was originally intended for Michael, but I thought the
community as a whole would benefit from it.
As I mentioned earlier, I will be working with Michael to set up a demo
Linux PC at McKinley. Our original thought was, due to McKinley's
unique student mix, it would be beneficial

Dan,
What time can we arrive at CompUSA to begin setup? I'd like to have
setup begin earlier... perhaps 4pm if possible. Please let me know what
time will work.
Also could you please set your Outlook Express to post in plain text

I hung the banner and handed out over two hundred

I sent several faxes to local radio and TV stations

The banners are up tonight and if you happen to be
