I did find a way to get samba installed and a way to start it, have
not yet
figured how to edit start up files so it will start on boot.
/sbin/chkconfig smb on
also have figured how to do without the Gnomba and Komba2 utilities by
using
command line options like smbmount; not quite as

Alvin- Just use GRUB and manually edit the grub.conf file so that you can
select WinXP in the GRUB menu. GRUB is much much better then LILO!
You'll have to edit either the /boot/grub/menu.lst or /boot/grub/grub.conf
