PCManFM2 actually can do automount on startup, unless your policykit
is not working correctly, which happens frequently. However, which
device to mount is a big problem since the rules are defined by gvfs
and it doesn't seem to be configurable.

If you install a full ubuntu then install LXDE then automount is ok.

When you install a desktop on top of another desktop (lxde on top of gnome
in this case) you get all the applications associated with both Desktops.
Where you to strip out the gnome desktop fully, then pysadm would go with it
(along with things like OpenOffice etc. etc.).

I was not 'having a go' at you :-(
With pysdm installed on my lubuntu system, setting up the automounting is a
doddle, that's why I have asked for it to be considered as a default
application for lubuntu :-)

limitations and if a user of it could get support on the main forum area
