Aloha oukou, With a small check with Google it seems Kubuntu never had Synaptic (or has at least replaced it with something similar, namely Adept) installed. I don't think it will be a problem to ship Lubuntu Synaptic by default. Ubuntu Software Center is available from the repositories when a use
