Hello Pierre,
I'm glad to know that. Please let me know if the same issue will be back
again.
As for the Screensaver, while I was checking, I found weird thing:
http://i43.tinypic.com/2m2jdcj.jpg
There are two Processes of xscreensaver and both of them are working so
when you stop it and go to
No, I didn't fix it.
I have two processes of xscreensaver too. I killed one of them, and I
made sure that Lock Screen option was unchecked : my screen still locks.
But are we in the same case ? I'm talking about the fact that my screen
locks after sleep ; maybe it is a normal behavior ?
Sometimes, thinking about the simplest step/solution could be helpful.
Please, try to check that option Lock Screen After from xscreensaver
main window and wait until the screensaver starts. After that, move your
mouse or press any key and type your password, to go screensaver and
uncheck Lock
Hi,
The 1st Alpha of Lubuntu 12.04 is planned for Thurday. We started the
ISO testing for Alpha 1, so if you want to help, you can join the
testing process :)
If you know how to use a virtual machine (Virtualbox) and how to install
Lubuntu, you can help ! :) You can follow the steps on this wiki

Hello Julien,
I was unable to open this: http://91.189.93.73
Site is blocked by my ISP and anyway it doesn't seem a valid IP address
anyway.
Another thing: I understand testing in Virtual Machines (VirtualBox) is
SAFE but will that be the same as testing on real installation?
For someone like me
After a few tests, my screen is only locked after Sleep, no longer with
the only screensaver. Do you have the same behavior after sleep ?
Sometimes, thinking about the simplest step/solution could be helpful.

Are you saying that you disabled the screensaver and your screen is locked
after some period of time?
If that is what you mean then No, it doesn't happen with me.

Hi,
I'm working since some times to some improvements to lxsession.
With my experiments, I ended to rewrite some part in Vala, since C have
problems with me :)
You can find the result on the options branch of lxsession :
Is there any graphical tool to set proxy configuration? I'm usig lubuntu 11.10

Looks quite good generally and source code written in vala is much more

For the session manager, I also have some other ideas.
Is it possible for lxsession to expose an interface for client tools to
change environment variables.
For example, clients can ask lxsession to do setenv(http_proxy, ...), so
later newly launched applications will use new proxy settings.
