Hi guys, attempting to revive an old pc to put in my daughters bedroom for
watching TV. (mainly peppa pig on YouTube!). It's a pentium 4 with about 512mb
ram and the live CD runs however when I click the icon or through the menu to
Install lubuntu nothing happens. Any help would be appreciated!

My experience has been 512MB is on the edge for installing Lubuntu.
I agree with the statement that running the installer ONLY, rather than
the Live desktop AND installer will be the best thing for that little RAM.
The Live System is a great way to test a computer!
But when you have 512 RAM,

weeks... I advise tripling the RAM for that adventure. Although I've never
actually watched live television on a P4 machine, I'd imagine you'd want the
same - at least 1.5 GB of RAM.
