In my very modest test using a /etc/xdg/lubuntu/mimeapps.list (a
location provided by $XDG_CONFIG_DIRS) to associate the ODT mime type
with LibreOffice Writer, pcmanfm did not respect that. It still opened
an ODT file with AbiWord.
