I have now learned that if I go into Geany and go to Edit/Preferences/Terminal and enable "Execute programs in the VTE", my scrips WILL run inside Geany's own vte. So, it must be an issue with LXTerminal not allowing scripts to run from outsiders. Is this the way it's supposed to be in L
