What fix?

As one of the 'best' ways to install malware is via the browser, simply add
a stable ppa for updates to it. the kernel updates and other core functions
will continue to be released until the EoL.

Hi Iberê,
Different persons have different advice about Lubuntu 12.04 after
end-of-life in October 2013. My advice is to get something else, for
example Xubuntu 12.04 LTS, that is receiving security updates for all
the packages until April 2015. Lubuntu will not get it for the Lubuntu
specific pac
this a very interesting thread, specially for me. i myself run lubuntu
12.04 on 2 laptops and i'm very interested in lubuntu pae support.

Hello amjjawad and everybody else reading this mail,
I think everybody can decide to run a linux version, that is not

works well without any intruder stealing information or using your
system for other illegal purposes.

Hello guys :D
Time for me to speak my mind ;)
I don't know why until now, we can't come to an agreement about this.
May I be extra honest with all of you?
FOR ME, and I speak only on my behalf, I think Lubuntu 12.04 is 90% an LTS
release. Why? please read this:

Hi Lance,
Am I trying to swim in too deep water?
And yes, I know that the non-pae kernel was re-activated for Lubuntu and
Xubuntu 12.04, but abandoned after 12.04.
I was thinking this fix could keep the Pentium Ms running for a few more
years with Lubuntu. I think work-arounds like starting with
since it's a kernel bug, does that mean all flavours will have the fix?
