@Linda, et al, I'm seeing the word "radeon" in your specs . . . 14.04 seems to have some "blind spot" for radeon driver . . . you might need to set up an xorg.conf file for your computer? Or something that works around the "radeon issue" . . . there are some bug reports on launchpad about this. F
