Yes, that issue has been addressed and taken care of.

3. Added the ability to disable lock creation by using
disableLuceneLocks
system property. This is useful for read-only media, such as
CD-ROMs.

The build process failed with a message stating that I needed to
download JavaCC, from WebGain ... I tried that, but have found
that WebGain is now a defunct company, and their download page
(along with many others) is no lon
