Hi, all
I'm trying to setup a Lustre FS with OST failover,
to improve performances i'm using a separated journal disk (formatted
with: mke2fs -b 4096 -O journal_dev /dev/mapper/oss1-j0x) and
formatting each ost with that command:
[OSS1]# mkfs.lustre --ost --fsname=LUSTRE --mgsnode=mgsn...@tcp0
Dear Andreas, sorry for the delay,
I work with Miguel, so i'll write for him.
We have one question,
is it possible (safe) to use debugfs on a mounted Lustre filesystem?
Thanks
Andrea

Yes, this is safe unless you open the filesystem with "-w" (write mode)

Hi Andreas,
Our systems people looked through the error logs and didn't report any
errors directly related to my job. There were some errors around the
same time and associated with other jobs, however (pasted below).
Thanks
Mark

Hi Guys,
I am working on building a small cluster sharing the lustre file system. I
will be using an infiniband interconnect for all the compute/head nodes.
Can someone please assist me in figuring out which RPM's should I install on
my MDS & OSS.:
kernel-ib-1.4.2-2.6.18_128.7.1.el5_lustre.1.8.1
