I have a lustre test environment. I'm currently testing network failover.
Failover works fine on subnet 1. When I turn off subnet 1 on lustre servers.
The clients can't
recover on to subnet 2.
Here is the configuration. All the servers and clients are on the same two
subnets.

We're (seemingly suddenly) getting some fairly odd IO pauses of about
20-30 seconds during client writes into one of our file systems (specifically
an rsync from an NFS to a Lustre). On the client, we're seeing blocks similar

about your DB usage of the Lustre FS, I would strongly advise you to follow
Andreas advice and test first.
Note also that you must use a recent Percona-released MySQL to avoid a nasty
POSIX-related bug in Innodb that crashes MySQL...
