I am seeing a ton of messages in the log of one of my OSSes:

WORK-OST0004-osd: the FID [0x1:0xcaf8d1:0x0] is used by two objects:

So is there a stable client for centos 7 that is backwards compatible with
2.5.3?

I'm experiencing MDS crashes after recovering from FS corruption
caused by hardware RAID failures on a system I manage.

FWIW, I have been through a very similar issue.
My story from where you are:
I ran fsck on all the targets until it was happy. I mounted the MGS, then the
MDT. Then I mounted all the OSTs EXCEPT the one that would cause kernel panics.
This let me get at all the data that did not have anyt
