Is there way to run 2.5.3-llnl server with 1.8.9 client?
Or, do you have a hint what can be a problem causing LBUG when mounting two
lustres (old 1.8.8 and new 2.5.3) from 1.8.9 client? No ldiskfs on new system,
ZFS only.
I'm copying my previous posting at the end of the mail for specific error.

Running "lfs df -i" is probably what you want?

Hello,
I'm curious as to the difference between the --failnode and --servicenode
options used by mkfs.lustre. On an OST these options are used to for ost
failover, not mgs failover (which is done through the --mgsnode parameter), but
what is the difference between a failnode and a service n
Good Afternoon Folks,
I’m trying to figure out an efficient way to get a global count of
objects per idx. I can do it through an horribly inefficient find + lfs
getstripe, but I’d really like to figure out a way not to have to touch the
posix layer of lustre to do this. Any ideas?

No. Generally speaking you do not want to use anything with number 50
or greater for the fourth number unless you are helping out with testing
during the development process.
2.5.3 was the last official r

zfs OSTs?
