Thanks again Jermey. This is pretty strange but here goes: SSK encryption
works end to end if I ssh as root into the server and client nodes to
mount. If I ssh as another user (say, centos) and `sudo` or `sudo -s` the
same commands with --skpath, the client mount fails.
So it seems like there is
Thanks Got it..

Hi all,
I'm setting up a new lustre filesystem with 2.10.4. Things are
looking OK so far. However, I noticed that when I mount up
my MDT, df reports a smaller size than I expect. The volume is
2.2TB, but the MDT reports 1.3:

I see that Andreas opened LU-11099 for that issue with `lfs setstripe -N`
usage. Thank you, Andreas. For completeness, I opened LUDOC-408 to track the
corresponding improvement to the Lustre Ops Manual.

It looks like the "-N" option is not documented for "lfs setstripe", only for
"lfs mirror create". These two commands use the same code in the background,
so it makes sense to also document "-N" for setstripe, since this is the
command commonly used to set default file layouts on directories.
You’re welcome!

Hi Mark,
I just verified the following commands on my 2.11 system. It works.
[root@centos7-3 tests]# ../utils/lfs setstripe -N2 /mnt/lustre/dir
[root@centos7-3 tests]# touch /mnt/lustre/dir/file
[root@centos7-3 tests]# ../utils/lfs getstripe /mnt/lustre/dir/file

Hi,
I am stuck while configuring the data on MDT feature on new lustre
filesystem. I am trying to set the stripcount using the following command to
put file size less or equalt to 1 MB on MDT.
lfs setstripe -L mdt --stripe-size=1M test
test is the directory not a lustre file-system mount
