it succeeds and lnet works and I can mount lustre as
expected.
Any ideas?

I have built lustre-2.10.1_13_g2ee62fb on 3.10.0-693.2.2.el7.x86_64 RHEL
Workstation release 7.4 (Maipo).
After installation of kmod-lustre-client-2.10.1_13_g2ee62fb-1.el7.x86_64.rpm
and lustre-client-2.10.1_13_g2ee62fb-1.el7.x86_64.rpm the lnet startup fails.
The error reported is
