I think your initial question was correct. I only have a demo version of
Fronimo, but I have not found a way of tranforming a tab staff into a
notation staff. As Alain said, this can be done automatically in Django,
and probably in the other notation based programs mentioned in ea

thanks for advising. No I know I misunderstood the initial question. I
had expected guitar notation = staff notation. It's that keyboard staff
thing I still have in mind, I guess ;)

Transcribing from tablature to notation and vice versa is a fairly
complex process both for a manual editor and software. Django offers
some options:
-there is toggle button that will switch from one to the other, in one voice
-for input, you have the option to display two staves for one

In Fronimo you simply select Options/General Options/Styles/Tablature
Styles and select the Spa
