does anyone on the list have any experience of playing duets with a harp
(either renaissance or baroque lute)? I would be grateful for some help
in terns of possible repertoire!
The last thing I remember, though faintly, was harp, lute and maracas, the
repertoire from Buena Vista Social club.
We have many editions for lute that some of you may not be aware of.
They are all in French Tablature for Renaissance lute and most books
comes with a CD of the music performed by Allan Alexander. Of special
interest at this time of year might be The Christmas Lute.

I found it really interesting to view three versions of the same
Nigra Sum from the 1610 Vespers. I deliberately did not look at any
before performing it, because it is too tempting to borrow the really
good riffs.
