[LUTE] Oud as Lute?

Hi ya'll, I have an Oud that's come my way that I can afford to buy. Can an Oud be made to play as a Lute?? Is there any major differences that would make it impossible to play as a Lute? Josh + Joshua Edward Horn + -- To get on or off this list see list information

[LUTE] Buying a real lute

Well, I decided finally to buy an actual lute. I found one that fits my budget, I don't want to spoil the surprise (or my good deal!) so I wont post how much it cost me, but I'll add pictures once it arrives. I am heading away from guitar, and moving to lute exclusively. + Joshua
