The "Passomeso in Basso" from Adriaenssen's Pratum Musicum 1584 features
two variations in a very odd anachronistic/visionary style:
It's basically the idea of "Alberti bass".

The search engine is self-explanatory, but it only finds pieces if you
search for the exact spelling.
For example, it will find all "D'ou vient cela" versions but not
"Dubienschla" :)
However, you can search for composers and sources.

posted. It's in Italian tab. I have the facsimile, though (also not
