I did not ask him exactly how he did this or how he filed his nails. All I
know is this is what he told me. There was an entire room full of people
that wanted to talk to him so he did not have time to be specific.

know this can be done because this is what Julian Bream used to do, play the
Guitar with nails and the Lute without, and this is in the same concert. I
asked him about this after a performance I was privileged to attend many
years ago. So it can be done.
