thread, is binding of the wound strings inevitable? I have lubricated the
slots in the nuts of both lutes with gaphite but still find that the wound

About my strings... I have to admit I am kind of a heretic. I have my lute=
=20
strung fully synthetic, namely in Savarez-KF strings. The frets are also=20
synthetic, for that I use a variant of fluor-carbon normally used for fishi=
ng.
