book Beedle the Bard. On page 45 the drawing at the top of the page is

series, season 6, chapter 4. It shows only for some seconds, but you

A Japanese television crew came to the Netherlands, filmed me playing
shamisen in the Japanese garden in Leiden and did an interview with
me. It's for a program called Yurari Sanpo Sekai no Machikado and will
be shown on BS-TBS in August. Listers in Japan
In Perugia earlier this week I found an interesting altarpiece by Luca
Signorelli (darling of Cortona). It features a slightly pot-bellied cherub
lute player at center trying to tune amongst several santi fawning on Mary
and Bambino Gesú.

On the US version of The Amazing Race last night, one of the tasks
involved learning Renaissance dance steps in Copenhagen. In the hall
was playing a consort of musicians and from the brief snatches of views
