Thanks to all who helped when my HDD broke, I was able to rescue at least the article I wrote on the speculative connections between Narvaez' Mille Regrets and Charles V. It's available on my homepage, section 'Writings'. Also availbale a short soundclip of Sumi Jo's singing, for those interested. Go to my cd section. Yes, I borrowed heavily from Nigel North for my continuo. I should add the story of that recording to my pages, too, as it was quite an adventure.
BTW, I was able to hook up my old (notebook, so conversion cable needed) HDD to my new computer. Only when holding the HDD upside down (!) I was able to save _all_ my data! Lesson nr. 1 is backup. Lesson nr.2 is don't give up, there's always hope.
