A theorbo for that price may be a tall order. Where are you located?
An Eastern European maker, or perhaps Luciano Faria in Brazil (if it
is true that he is filling all his orders and you can contact him)
might be able to do it. I don't think you will find a well know
maker's theorbo for that price. Others know better. I don't have a
theorbo. 13 course might be more feasible. There is a retired fellow
who is/was on this list that specializes in reasonably priced Baroque
lutes. His name evades my memory, but someone will know.
