Lute Scholarship for study in Italy

A one-year scholarship offered by the Marco Fodella Foundation for study at 
the International Academy of Music in Milan for lutenists and other 
early-music instrumentalists and vocalists. The scholarship covers tuition 
and shared housing for one academic year (October to June) in Milan. The 
school has an in-depth early-music program which includes a baroque 
orchestra and regular seminars by well-known scholars and performers. The 
lute teacher is Paul Beier. Applications for the scholarship must be 
received by April 30, 2007. Instructions in English can be found at the
