There are several ways to do this. The way you mentioned works fine and
gives a good clamp surface under the bridge. I have found that I like
to glue the bridge on after the top is partially glued on. To get the

I'm working on a soundboard and my usual procedure is to glue the
bridge on first, flip it over onto a flat board with a recess cut to
take the bridge then glue on the bars.
Is this the usual way to do it, or are there other options that might
be considere
