Dear Ones, I have returned home, finally after 3 weeks in the hospital. I am well aware that the list has known of my bicycle crash, trauma, and illnesses. I heard from many, many of you, and I thank you so much for your friendship and support. I will have most of the summer off, which was unplanned. I am very grateful to be alive, and it will take a long time to recover, with future corrective surgery.
Each and every card I received touched me, and I am now thinking clearly (at least I think so). I shall watch the lute list, but feel like I will be slow in actively contributing for now. I hope to start making beautiful music again, hopefully soon. If anyone wants to call or write, I would love to hear from you. This lute community, although it sometimes gets a bit argumentative, has a caring cohesive bond of which I am fortunate to be a part of, and to all my friends, thank you immensely.
