I've seen out of memory log entries in several containers. In particular
sambe won't start on a vrand new container due to low memory. But
free -m
total used free shared buffers cached

-/+ buffers/cache: 1095 6797
Swap: 15255 0 15255
well, almost 7GB free! There's apparently no memory information available:

lxc is version 1.0.6 as distributed with Debian Jessie.
