have been using Google already is not an argument, when users didn't

I don't understand your question at 100%:
What do you need? What have you reached?
And:
OS version? LXC version?

For any issue report, you should include context information, such as:
- Host OS and version
- LXC version
- Guest OS and version
- What's the difference when your container worked.
(etc.)

To separate privileges, I assign different subUID:subGID ranges per each

I've tried to create an unprivileged container in Debian GNU/Linux 10
(buster host), with Debian 8 (jessie) as guest.
Systemctl does not work (freezes on start/stop services), and the only
workaround I've found is to replace Systemd by SystemV.
Has anybody found a solution to not do this important

For my first LXC tests, I've created an "lxc" unprivileged account and
"vhosts" group for it.
One key of the unprivileged account is to not be same user as root one,
of course. But what about when I'm using same unprivileged account for
more that one container (VPS)?
I mean that, to be sure malic
Hello, I've been creating LXC containers in a dedicated user account.
I need to know if this is a good practice, instead of dedicating
different user account per each unprivileged container.
Thank you.

I've read somewhere:
"Ubuntu is also one of the few (if not only) Linux distributions to come

I believe it's a bug of the "free" utility, reading incorrectly an
out-of-range number and representing beyond maximum value as signed integer.

You can explore if container's IP has been assigned by DHCPd:
cat /var/lib/dhcp/dhclient.leases
cat /var/lib/dhcp3/dhclient.leases

PLease, provide environment details (host OS, guest OS, architectures,

My experience:
Host OS: Debian 8
LXC: 1.0.6
Container OS: Debian 8
With "reboot" command in the container, it reboots as expected.

Hello,
What is the best procedure to make a consistent container backup without
