At least on 1.08 this not necessary, and is probably a bad
idea.
the entry in the container config should be enough..

Is this issue fixed in 2.x??

Sorry I may have confused you. I had the network name the same as
the veth pair. Anyway admn-101 container still sees traffic from mfs-101
Here is a rename
on the host
bridge name

version 1.08
Nope.
[root@admn-101 ~]# ifconfig
admn101-1 Link encap:Ethernet HWaddr 26:3C:0B:06:A2:AF
inet addr:10.2.3.101 Bcast:10.2.255.255 Mask:255.255.0.0
inet6 addr: fe80::243c:

I have a bridge for each interface. No interfaces on the host
have
IP's except br1. Use veth in config
lxc.network.type = veth
lxc.network.flags
Howdy!
I have a number of containers running. Is it expected that
information about the network of other containers is "visible".. for
example
the container admn-101 has ip 10.2.3.101
[root@admn-101 admn-101]# netstat -an|grep LIST
tcp0 0 0.0.0.0:514

XD containers but if I could get some background as to how
the container network environment is setup, specifically nested
containers, it would go a long way. This has already been a huge
learning experience but I have the feeling I am missing something o
pre-seeded with all the other keys and setup scripts.
When we need a new container we clone this one and then execute the setup
scripts passing in the relevant variables.
I'd be happy to go into greater detail if you were interested in hearing
more granular details about how we make it all work!

Why would you ever want to remove all possibility of using lxc
tools to manage
a running container???
If you are worried about containers taking over you sessions or
whatever.. Why not
just run them in screen
screen -dmS Co
eas about what I have to do??
