I am worried about the "few weeks" part. If I want a slow/updating
server software, I could stay with Scientific Linux.

For Ubuntu, we care about shipping well tested software and not causing
regressions when pushing post-release updates, as a result every update
has to wait at least a week in staging before it's pushed to the rest of

The Ubuntu update process is designed to quickly get simple, verifiable
fixes to our users. That works fine when we're pushing an update to fix
a single bug, with a clear test case, small readable code diff.
LXC 1.0.4 is very far from that, it's almost 80 changes, most of them
without even a bug r
If the older lxc package works fine, than I don't see a reason to hurry
with an update.
Especially with a not tested one..
