Don't define /etc/fstab. Have an entry in your config as :
lxc.mount = test.fstab
and add an entry to test.fstab as
/lib /container-rootfspath/lib none bind 0 0

I have not tried mounting the lxc based samba server in any linux machine.

Yes. But this is a test box. I have done a little testing but user
shares from this are not in production.
