thanks, I might learn something from that file.
I suspect that the path forward for me is to do
what I always do with semi-documented complex
systems (e.g. cmake): write the smallest possible
examples (using, say, netcat) and fiddle with them until they work.

Without an error message more informative than a simple segfault, who knows?
Recommend:
Search your Host syslogs for a more informative error message
If not in a message, post the Container config file somewhere where
someone can inspect (eg Pastbin)
I assume that you're copying to/from sep

When I have been championing the usage of LXC which seems prettu robust a
common answer seems to be that it is still in development.
I noticed Roadmap 1.0 is published on the Ubuntu Wiki but could not find much
details or a date.
