Here're some news about LXQt 0.8.
1. Thanks to the hard work of Luis, now libqtxdg can use the new
QMimeDatabase and drop libmagic. He's updating the other components to
adopt the changes. After the related PRs are all merged, libqtxdg is
ready for a new release.

I have to read the QStandardsPaths code carefully to see if it
