Hi,
As LFS decided removing gnome as it will depend on Systemd, I'd like to
replace it with lxde (it contains now xfce and kde). Hence my desire to
understand
how to build from scratch. It'll help too for my accessibility tests purposes
to help this project. I've several questions:

I would be interested too. To test, but also to have some build process and,
thus,
report it (e.g. in blfs book). I think lxde can really be a great future for
accessibility if orca works with it.
Does orca 3.x work? as if I remember it uses gtk3... but I'm not sure.

weird for me and hard to compile, I really hope xfce/lxde will bring actually
some alternative. Thanks very much to dev. Let's test and see what exists
today.

Hi,
XFCE has an accessibility page but the work is still "in progress", according
to orca's devs when xfce 4.10 was released.
I'm sorry to ask this but can someone make me a summary of lxde accessibility,
I mean, what lxde release works? what orca release? Do we have with that the
menus? Are ther

Hi,
It seems to be a great new indeed. Do you think it could work with some dev
release of lxde packages? I guess it'd needed to build them manually, but there
are few packages in lxde. Wouldn't it be possible?
Best regards,
JPM

Hi,
I've just seen that LXDE improved accessibility of the environment. As I have
problems with gnome3 and because xfce is not yet accessible, but also because
I prefer building my own system instead of any distro, lxde interests me.
1. Is this improvement in a stable release or only in dev?
2.
