Merrill I could fix the two problems that seems to comes from LyX - the

It's a trivial thing to fix :-)
Requires only unsetting the filter on xforms, and changing the variables
from int to float/double.

bugs from my list. As usual, I found new bugs at the same time. In
particular, I would like to draw your attention to a memory leak
