Hi all,
I have encountered a few problems trying to convert a LaTeX file into
Lyx I'd like to report.
My LaTex file (a shorter version is appended below) contains many
accents due to some quoted from French. I converted it to LyX with
tex2lyx and then converted from the lyx format that tex2ly

Jürgen,
you destroyed non-ASCII characters in the Changelog. I would not expect that
from somebody with umlauts in his name ;-) Can you please repair it?

I am using Ubuntu Linux 5.04. I am trying to compile and install Lyx
1.3.5 and 1.3.6 with
./configure --with-frontend=qt --with-qt-dir=/usr/share/qt3
--prefix=/usr
make
sudo checkinstall
I get following problem: Lyx is trying to overwrite fonts, which are
part of already installed tetex-extra 2.0

Hi All,
I've just installed LyX 1.3.6-1 and found a little bug. When I change
the PDF viewer in the Preferences dialog and hit apply all the screen
fonts get changed, from the install defaults, to the top most font in
their combo boxes (in my case Agency FB). Initially I could get the

I think it's because the combox has the Mac entries at the top when
first shown. You have to scroll *up* to find the Windows entries.

As shown here:

The left hand margin is not being respected.
This is now bug 1957.
