$ lyx
then you get the first that is found scanning your PATH envi

So, they've changed the QTextEngine. No magic. That's one of the pros to use
Qt-5.

OK, I updated the documentation - there are now two patches (one to update the
code for a better version - I hope it can make it for 2.1, one for the
documentation) attached to issue #8185.

Hello Liviu,
The code can be found here, on the GSoC repo:
http://git.lyx.org/?p=gsoc.git;a=shortlog;h=refs/heads/toolbars/customdiagand
it is usable, it's just that it doesn't yet remember the toolbar
layout
(i.e. the toolbar can be customized but after LyX restarts the changes will
be lost), it

Hello LyX community,
My name is Mihai Varga, I am in my 2nd year of study at the Polytechnic
University of Bucharest and I am interested in the "Advanced find and
replace" project for GSoC.
I do not know if some of you still remember me but I also applied last year

Dear LyX devels,
in light of all the recent discussions, my latest report, and the fact
that GSOC 2014's application window is about to open (March 10), it'd
be great if we could reach some consensus on the projects' goal and
approaches.
My current view of the matter is this:
1. We have two proj
As further info on our current discussion of the LyX --> Word
conversion, here are some of the problems I encountered over the
weekend when converting a ~50,000 word lyx file that had the features
detailed below.
I will eventually make a wiki page with the information contained
here, once I have

No. There is still too much to do and the translators also need time. I
will see what I can do this week.
Is it really that pressing? I mean I will for sure find further issues
while updating the docs and I think we should take the time to fix as
many bugs as possible

1) Please, detail how exactly you launch lyx. If you have also the standard LyX
installed as coming from the Linux distribution, then perhaps

I was trying to get myself familiar with lyx codebase by working on an

But my changes in the source code are not reflected when i run lyx.
Here's what i did:
1.made some changes to the GuiPrefs.cpp file
2.make
3.run
