I just installed Lyx 2.3.2 on my Mac Pro running MacOS 10.14.4 and am having
problems running in dark mode, which is the my preferred appearance setting
from the System Preferences/General/Appearance.
The problem is with any window I open from the menu such as Document/Settings
or Lyx/Preferenc

Thanks for the prompt response.
I backed up and deleted the preferences file and Lxy 2.2 came right up. When i
tried to open a document it reported “cannot load basic module” and a lot of
associated problems.
I then deleted the Lyx 2.2 app and Lyx-2.2 directory in ~/Library and then ran
my 2.

I have been using Lyx on the Mac for more than a year. I am currently using
2.1.4. I have recently moved to HiDPI(Retina) with El Capitan. I would like
to give Lys 2.2 a try if possible.
