Options for Index as with bibliography

Hi! Would it be possible to model the Index field after the Bibliograpy field? What I mean is, that it would be nice to have the option to give the index-style to lyx as you do with a bibliography style. Just my 2cents worth. Greetings Thorsten PS: cc replies to me, since I'm not subscribed to

Toggle Appendix > also Toggle frontmatter?
