Well to be honest I am using the Lyx version that Mike Fabian packaged
as an RPM with his patch. I am willing to try the patch(es) as sonn as
I can rebuild my chrooted buildsytem ( currently the DVD is not obeying
my orders grrr)

mapping file is broken with XFree86 4.2 I am using a different keyboard
file and since tr-TR.UTF-8 does not work with Lyx as long as I have
LANG=tr_TR lyx I have no problems in typing "gbreve" Ä or Å "scedilla"
or any other letter of Turkish alphabet
