I just followed the directions on http://www.devel.lyx.org/cvs.php3 to
login to the anonymous CVS server (yes I've never used CVS before but
I've used ClearCASE).
The following was output after "cvs login" and password lyx.

However, already for some days I cannot get any response from the
server. Is the info there wrong? What I did is:

cd /cvs/lyx; rsync -aCz --delete baywatch.lyx.org::lyxcvs .
I was missing the --delete flag before, so this was bound to happen.
