Can anyone tell me what the following command does?
\makeatletter
It seems Lyx specific?
I'm trying to use a document class for a conference and this command keeps
screwing things up.
Is it possible to prevent the command occuring in the tex file?

It makes '@' behave as a normal letter from a (La)TeX point of view.
